Default The Wagon did 11.989 @ 119.089 - Video

So I was pretty happy with the overall result.. The temps were cooling and the car was really coming around.. I really just spent the night focusing on my 60'..

First run I just botched the launch and under-estimated my traction - came off the clutch a little too quick and bogged it.. Second and third runs I ran almost dead consistent on the 60' 1.865-4.. The first three passes were almost back to back.. The last pass took a while before I was up – scraping up the pieces of some cobalt that blew up - so air temps had dropped and i figured I could get a little more aggressive with the launch coming off the clutch.. Paid off with a 1.775 60'... I figure without being too abusive Mid 1.7x's are about right for the car.. On that run I actually bounced off the limiter in second before hitting third.. Lost about a half a mph from the previous run.. But I said as soon as I snag anything of the 11.9999999x flavor I was parking it.. And I did with a smile.. It probably has another 10th left in it the way it sits..

With a better exhaust manifold and a TGV delete / port the car would probably pick up another 30 or 40hp and nail solid 11.7’s. Im happy the way it is..

Scraped an 11 in a full weight, bone stock block / manifolds, station wagon with cans of rockstar, a fire extinguisher, and like 10 lbs of change floating around in it.. On all season street tires aired up to 40psi the way I always drive.. Totally in street trim..

Pretty cool!

Now it's time for corners (left and right)!

Thumbs up Nice!

Bouncer,

Your car is BadA$$!!!

Hilarious that you sold that to the Mrs. as a "practical wagon..."

Nice work on breaking into the 11 sec range. Imagine how fast it would be with carbon fiber paddle shifters (I often ponder that thought while perusing 360 and 430 offerings on eBay...).

One of these days we're going to get a track car - just for fun - and we'll know where to go for upgrades. When are you riding your BIKE next?

Bike is coming! Ordered a complete shim kit yesterday as well as some odds and ends for the carbs. Carbs are all shined up and ready to rock. Just need to do the valves when the kit comes in.. Then break out the toothbrush and clean up the engine, frame, nuts, bolts, washers, cotter pins, etc..

The car is pretty insane.. With a proper launch 11.60's-11.70's are attainable.. But it is a street / track car.. With the AWD that power can be delivered under conditions that a RWD car would be pointed backwards and in the dirt on a road course.. It's pretty "wacky". I highly suggest some folks with track car aspirations take this thing out for a test drive.. Just make damned well sure you have it pointed in the right direction when you stab the throttle (Or be VERY comfortable with all wheel power drifts).
