The weather was looking pretty grim as I drove myself and DJ and his sister Ivana to Monterey on late Sunday afternoon....it started raining very hard and never let up. It was looking iffy for our trackday at Laguna in the morning.
Well the weather cleared to a PERFECT day, with little turn out ( I'm sure the night before's weather scared off a lot of others!!)
The A group only had about 14 people, the B had 19, and the C had 7!!
I was in B, but DJ was in C and it was his first day, so I opted to go into C just to check it out.
The instructors were friendly and helpful ( some of the stuff they cover I already knew, but most of them had never been to the track so it was helpful)
I really like the "turn in cones" that they put at the outside entrance, and the "apex cones" knocked down on their side at the apex..that was great in helping pick a good line..
ALL IN ALL A GRREAT DAY WITH GREAT PEOPLE!!
