Hi everybody, my name is Adam. I just found this forum, and I think it's just what I have been looking for. I have lived in Sac. since 97. I ride a 96 CBR600F3. I am 34 and am very passionate about riding. I would like to start track riding someday soon. I have been riding motorcycles since age 8. I am one of those who don't think of my bike as a toy, but rather as an extension of myself (wish the wife would believe that). I hope to get to know many of you and for you get to know me. New or experienced, it's always more fun to ride with others.

Hi Adam!!!!
Sounds like YOU are going to fit right in with this crowd! The most passionate riders you will ever find are right here! The great thing is they ride together almost every Sunday. Check out the rides forum. They also attend track days and would love to have you along, I'm sure! You should join in ! Does your wife ride? There are several awesome lady kneeriders in the group, too.
Welcome and join in on the fun!

Welcome F3P!
Glad you found us! This is an AWESOME group - top quality people, the best bikes in the world, highly skilled riders (and some beginners too!), and an excellent forum to share it all. We have very experienced track riders here, and many AFM licensed racers, and track day instructors. We even have the best Ducati Racer in the Nation as our featured racer - GoGo! We ride with Sportbike Track Time frequently, and I hope you will come out and join us on April 19 or May 16 at Thunderhill!;) Click on the Sportbike Track Time link from the top of any page!
We also ride EVERY WEEK weather permitting. We meet at the Chevron in West Sac (last exit before the Causeway headed West) during this time of year. This week - we're meeting there at 10:00. Check out our rides in Rides / Gatherings forum and join us soon. In the meantime, get to know the forum and feel free to jump in and get active!
Enjoy!:D

Thanks for the welcome. No my wife doesn't ride. I'm working on her, but so far no go. I do however take my 8 yo. daughter with me sometimes and she loves it. A group ride every week sounds like just what the doctor ordered. I think I am going to like it here very much.

I too have introduced our kid to the joy of riding. I have only takin him on little trips and he DEMANDS to be dropped off and picked up on the bike when the weather is good. ( I think he feels cool when all the other kids gawk, stare and get excited....It is funny whenever I show up to pick him up, he never has to look for me since all the kids yell for him to tell him I have arrived!! :) )
Welcome to the site and you should look me up if you need anything for that bike of yours, I have a 97 F3 racebike and even better I own Apex Motorsports in Roseville...

The people in here are very nice and I've been enjoying riding and talking to them for the past month, lots of nice bikes, "the best bikes in the world" just like RB said, experienced riders, pros, or beginners like myself. I'm looking forward to meeting and riding with you soon, and welcome, welcome aboard.
