Kneeriders,

We met last week for another fun and FAST time at RPM (indoor kart racing).

We ran the normal "Grand Prix" event with 3 separate 25 lap sessions. We had a great time with many members in attendance (some for the first time).

Most importantly, this was the official return of SHIFTY to the action. He was racing just ONE DAY after having the screw removed from his right shoulder...you are one tough $%@#%&$ Shifty! :p

The crowd overall was fast, and we had a range of skill levels. We ran this event on the "No Fear" track - a first for our GP's. There were a couple of drivers who joined us (which we agreed to), and we've now learned NOT to let that happen next time.

Jeremy was super quick, Eric and Lynn were both fast, and Shifty was faster than any "still injured" person has a right to be. He did make a nice gesture by taping the "just removed" sku to the back of his helmet... ;)

The racing was fun, all had a good time, and no major incidents to report...just great times with good friends. We did however get several shots of people in the "RPM Throne", see attached.

Please plan to join us at our next event - it will be even bigger and better. I'm attaching several photos for your viewing pleasure!

It is a blast... these guys are as fast in those karts as they are on a bike, just a little more sliding involved :D I can't wait for the next one, I've already got the $ saved just for that occasion! Now if only that RB bike was a diff. color, I think RB would have walked out with it ;) Take care, see you all next time!

When and where is the next event going to be held? Let me know 'cause I'd love to join the group doing a little kart racing! :)

Shifty,

With your severely restricted shoulder, and a screw that was removed only 1 day earlier, you were still within 1 or 2 10ths... We all KNOW that when you are at 100% - you are the fastest of them all. ;)

Of course - it will remain the Shifty flag... :p

PS - Gregg - we usually do these every month or so up here in Sacramento. Probably a bit too far for you to come (unless we can scedule it in with a track day or ride!). :D Stay tuned to this forum for more info.
