Kneeriders,
We met last week for another fun and FAST time at RPM (indoor kart racing).
We ran the normal "Grand Prix" event with 3 separate 25 lap sessions. We had a great time with many members in attendance (some for the first time).
Most importantly, this was the official return of SHIFTY to the action. He was racing just ONE DAY after having the screw removed from his right shoulder...you are one tough $%@#%&$ Shifty! :p
The crowd overall was fast, and we had a range of skill levels. We ran this event on the "No Fear" track - a first for our GP's. There were a couple of drivers who joined us (which we agreed to), and we've now learned NOT to let that happen next time.
Jeremy was super quick, Eric and Lynn were both fast, and Shifty was faster than any "still injured" person has a right to be. He did make a nice gesture by taping the "just removed" sku to the back of his helmet... ;)
The racing was fun, all had a good time, and no major incidents to report...just great times with good friends. We did however get several shots of people in the "RPM Throne", see attached.
Please plan to join us at our next event - it will be even bigger and better. I'm attaching several photos for your viewing pleasure!
